Working the line between land art and photography, Emily Niksich Laughlin, often surveys naturally occurring landscape for the subject of her work.  Through a series of assembling and disassembling digital and printed images, Niksich Laughlin uses digital tools as well as freedom in the moment to install large scale prints directly in a space.

Local landscapes may serve as both a unifier and a mirror for the community that live among any particular region. Viewing these works is an opportunity connect to place and to reflect on concentration and attention.
